Program Assessment

The SHARP Program aggregates data (i.e., summary of role, location, racial and ethnic categories across all attendees) across the whole program at the end of each summer to better support our attendees and broaden participation in this growing program. The response to the question below will only be analyzed as a collective whole and will not be used in any other way.

Attendee List

Our summer workshops attract participants regionally, nationally, and internationally in a given field or interest, providing an exciting networking and collaborative environment to meet others and exchange ideas.

As a goal of creating more opportunities for collaboration, we will develop a voluntary attendee list of basic contact information (name, role, organization, email address, research interest) for those interested. Your information is never shared without your consent. Only those participants that approve of the inclusion of their information for these five categories will be included in the list, and receive the list. Those that do not approve will neither be included, nor receive the list.

*Selection made below will apply to all attendees on this registration. If you would like different selections for each attendee, please email [email protected] with specifics.

  • Please note: We unfortunately cannot customize what info is/is not included for each individual. If you do NOT want one of the following 1) name, 2) role, 3) organization, 4) email address, and/or 5) 1-sentence research focus to be included on the list, you will need to opt out of both receiving a list and being included in the list.

  • Your information will not be included in the attendee list, and you will not receive an attendee list.

Zoom Photo Permission

Like most events, we like to take a few photos during our trainings of speakers and the general audience (no individual shots). We gather permission for taking these photos in case we decide to share a write up online about the training, or a post on social media. If you do not want to grant permission, your photo and any identifying information will be blurred in any viewable Zoom photo.

Participant Statement: I, the training participant, grant permission to The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York ("Columbia") and to Columbia's affiliates or others acting with authority from Columbia with respect to all  photographs and recordings to be used online, in print, and/or for marketing purposes. Permissions can be changed at any time by contacting [email protected]..
